Building robotic wonders

Last Friday, students from Magnetic Hill School in Moncton and Claude D. Taylor School in Riverview gathered to participate in an inter-school Robotic Competition.
The grade 4 and 5 students worked hard building and programming the robots either individually or in groups using Lego MindStorm NXT and Transportation Kit projects.
Judges visited each project for a demonstration of what the robots could do and awarded marks to each project.
In the end, first and second place winners were named, with a group from Claude D. Taylor School receiving first place, and a Magnetic Hill School team in second place.
