Try walking somewhere new this week

Thich Nhat Hanh said that people usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But the writer had a different idea.
"I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth.
"Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes.
"All that is a miracle."
Now that's the kind of spirit that prompts a person to strike out for a walk into unchartered territory.
Did you ever notice that you get used to certain walks, and you do them repeatedly as a regular ritual, but you are less inclined to step out of your comfort zone.
Sometimes it is best to encourage ourselves to just drive to a subdivision that we have never visited before and walk around it.
That's what took me to Pinehurst Subdivision this week in Moncton, and to Copperfield Street in particular.
I don't know where it got it's name, but I am a big fan both of the David Copperfield of Charles Dickens's mind and the David Copperfield of the magic act, so I felt a instantly at home on the street.
It's amazing how fast even Moncton's newer neighbourhoods soon start to look well established, and this street is no exception.
It won't take you long to walk Copperfield Street, so you should expand your walk along a number of streets in this subdivision since it is a really pleasant place to walk.
There are beautiful homes to enjoy as you pass by, and lovely gardens.
