Fundy National Park's newest outdoor exhibit was unveiled recently at Hueston Brook. This exhibit was developed as part of the park's EcoIntegrity Project.

"This is an example of our government's commitment towards Fundy National Park," says Rob Moore. MP for Fundy Royal. "This exhibit will encourage visitors to come and enjoy our park's natural beauty and cultural heritage."

The Hueston Brook exhibit is the latest in a series of enhancements to Fundy National Park of Canada and is part of the multi-year EcoIntegrity Project launched in July 2007. The project educates the public through immersive experiences, offering visitors new insight in ecosystem management and opportunities to connect with the park.

The new exhibit at Hueston Brook, designed by Form Media of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, features a wooden log structure reminiscent of the times when Fundy's Point Wolfe River was a thriving logging community. The exhibit also includes newly designed interpretive panels giving visitors an overview of the changing landscape as the river is restored and marine life is protected.

"Hueston Brook provides the perfect place to stop and explore Fundy National Park's past and reflect on its future," says Mr. Moore.

Fundy National Park of Canada has been a major destination since its establishment in 1948. Its dramatic landscapes are linked to the Bay of Fundy and its world famous tides. It is part of a system of national parks, national historic sites and national marine conservation areas that is recognized as one of the finest and most extensive in the world.

Parks Canada works to ensure Canada's cultural and natural heritage are presented and protected for the enjoyment, education and appreciation of all Canadians, today and in the future.
