101 Moncton Air Cadets will hold a yard sale on May 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Byron Dobson Arena in Riverview. Proceeds will help support cadet activities. The yard sale will be held rain or shine, as it will be held indoors.

The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra will hold auditions for the Greater Moncton area on May 6 at Frank L. Bowser School.

The orchestra meets on weekends during the regular season to rehearse and perform in venues around New Brunswick. Special projects have included tours to Carnegie Hall, New York, Parma, Italy and Beijing, China in addition to recording three CDs and premiering original orchestral compositions.
